It’s a sad day when California donors learn their charitable donations were not used for the intended purpose.
The Department of Justice Tax Division uncovered crimes committed by On Your Feet, also known as Family Resource Center, a tax-exempt charitable organization in California that defrauded donors from 2011 through 2016 to the tune of over $1.35 million in clothing and other items. Founders Geraldine Hill and Clayton Hill plead guilty to their crimes.
