Businessman Pleads Guilty to Tax Crimes After Filing Quiet Disclosure

On April 3, 2020, a Florida businessman plead guilty to tax crimes after the DOJ discovered the millions of tax-free dollars he used to purchase a home with 100 feet of waterfront property, an expensive yacht, and other personal expenses.

After failing to file tax returns or pay tax for 15 years, Dusko Bruer submitted a “quiet” disclosure by filing some tax returns, yet even those returns did not disclose all of his income or offshore accounts.  For more details, read the full article here.
