The California Department of Tax & Fee Administration (CDTFA) has requested approval to begin formalizing Sales and Use Tax Regulation 1684.5, Marketplace Sales, which would assist in implementing legislation enacted in 2019 requiring marketplace facilitators and sellers of their duties in California.
